A heat pump is a highly efficient heating and cooling system that doesn't rely on ductwork to distribute hot or cold air throughout a home. Instead, it uses wall-mounted indoor and outdoor units to transfer heat in and out of the house, providing a more comfortable and energy-efficient home environment.
Heat pumps are essential because they offer numerous benefits, such as lower energy bills, better indoor air quality, and increased comfort. So, if you're looking for an affordable, efficient, eco-friendly heating and cooling solution, a ductless heat pump is worth considering.

What do you need to qualify?
1. Your household income must be
Below 60% SMI (see chart below)
Below 80% AMI (see chart below) if you are an elderly person, a disabled person, or a BIPOC person
2. You must own your home, or have the OK from your landlord for the upgrade
3. Your previously existing heating system must be
Electric (either functioning or not)
Oil (non-functioning only)
4. Your home must be within Portland City Limits.
