Native Plant Installation & Maintenance: Bioswale Installation, Hacienda CDC

"Verde installed native plant installations at three of Hacienda's affordable housing projects. Verde worked closely with the projects' landscape architect and property management staff to ensure each installation was appropriate to the site and easily maintained.
As the Asset Manager, I deeply appreciated Verde's sensitivity to the realities of maintaining income-restricted properties. Verde also did an excellent job at involving the resident community at each installation. The resident youth who participated in planting the sites not only had fun, but they also gained knowledge about native plants and a greater sense of connection to their community."

"SOLV's Team Up program works on 55 restoration and enhancement projects with volunteers. For volunteers to do re-vegetation of stream and riparian areas, the non-native plants must first be well under control. We rely on Verde to prepare our sites for native plantings. They are the most professional crew we work with."

"The Johnson Creek Watershed Council has partnered with Verde on riparian improvement projects along Johnson Creek. This partnership is building community investment and working with landowners for the increased benefit and function of our natural areas, improving water quality, fish and wildlife habitat.
Specifically, JCWC has contracted with Verde to provide services at the Lovena Farms property along Johnson Creek. Verde crews have enhanced the riparian area by controlling non-native invasive plants, to be followed up by revegetation of native species."
- Greg Ciannella, Watershed Stewardship Coordinator, Johnson Creek Watershed Council
