Verde's Busy Spring 2008

Verde has secured a number of Spring 2008 contracts, keeping our regular crews very busy and giving us the opportunity to hire and train more people. These contracts include: The Rebuilding Center. $4,000 installation by the Center's Michigan Canopy building (together with J Boyd Landscaping), and Corrective Action for the Center's stormwater planters.

East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District. $19,000 contract for Herbicide Control of Garlic Mustard, an invasive plant species, in the Columbia Gorge.

The Nature Conservancy. $15,000 contract for Manual Control of Garlic Mustard in the Columbia Gorge.

Portland Public Schools. $14,000 contract for Corrective Action and Maintenance of Stormwater Facilities at multiple Portland Public Schools sites.

Harper Houf. $8,000 contract for outreach and education services in connection with the Cully Green Street Planning process.

Blue Heron Lake Homeowners Association. $16,000 contract for invasives control in SW Portland.
