Mission
The Mission of Verde is to improve the economic health of disadvantaged communities by creating environmental job training, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities, fostering the connection between economic vitality and environmental protection and restoration.

Verde provides these opportunities to residents of Hacienda CDC affordable housing and to other disadvantaged individuals by employing them in the Verde Native Plant Nursery, a social enterprise. The Nursery provides native plant services in the Portland region.
